Hell's Knights by Bella Jewel

4 star read for me.

It has all the dirty, gritty, and ugly of a MC love story with a surprising sweet underside.  Cade is all twisty and jaded, but says some pretty deep stuff throughout the book. If you are a fan of Sheehan's Undeniable or Ashley's Chaos series, this one will be good for you. It is not as deep and emotionally draining, but just as hot and sweet.
The only thing that kept it from being a five star for me was the length of the book and depth of the story.  I think some of the story line could have been developed more to make it a better story, but it was still an excellent read.

Taint by SL Jennings

This little gem comes out later this year, this blurb alone makes me want to read it.

Right now, you’re probably asking yourself two things:

Who am I?

And, what the hell are you doing here?

Let’s start with the most obvious question, shall we?

You’re here, ladies, because you can’t f*ck.

Oh, stop it. Don’t cringe. No one under the age of 80 clutches their pearls.

You might as well get used to it, because for the next six weeks, you’re going to hear that word a lot. And

you’re going to say it a lot.

Go ahead, try it out on your tongue.

F*ck. F***ck.

Ok, good. Now where were we?

If you enrolled yourself in this program then you are wholly aware that you’re a lousy lay. Good for you.

Admitting it is half the battle.

For those of you that have been sent here by your husband or significant other, dry your tears and get over

it. You’ve been given a gift, ladies. The gift of mind-blowing, wall-climbing, multiple-orgasm-inducing sex.

You have the opportunity to f*ck like a porn star. And I guarantee, you will when I’m done with you.

And who am I?

Well, for the next six weeks, I will be your lover, your teacher, your best friend, and your worst

enemy. Your every-f*cking-thing. I’m the one who is going to save your relationship and your sex life.

I am Justice Drake.

And I turn housewives into whores.

Now…who’s first?

Due to some family illness I haven't been reading too much lately.  I am sure I will be back to my usual snarky book reviewing self soon, so thanks for sticking with me.  I will try to make sure to post recommendations and freebies.  Feel free to send me suggestions.
Love ya!!

Unexpected Angel

Such a good book.  Who can resist a book with a hot cover model and Shubari ropes on it? If you are looking for a read that is hot and sweet at the same time, this is a good one.  There is no pesky cliffhanger to annoy you either.  There is some unresolved conflict that will lead to the next book, but nothing to keep you up at night annoyed.  The only thing keeping from five stars is the ending.  I would have liked a little bit more, but it was still really good. The club that they are always talking about being a part of is not really developed enough.  It is only referred to, but not explained.  I am hoping she is just trying to keep some things back for the rest of the books in the series.
I will be one-clicking with a vengeance when the next one comes out!

Stone Passions Trilogy bundle
Somehow this little gem written by a fellow Army wife slipped by me for a while.  This was kind of a good thing, because I got to read them all back to back.  This was also a bad thing because I was a total book zombie for a week.  Then it took me another week to mentally process all this wonderfulness.  I blame a friend of mine because she failed to mention the tag lines 'statue molesting' 'high flying 69 of hotness' or 'Holy cringing lady parts batman'.  Had she told me that, I would have read them sooner!!

These books follow a group of brothers, that happen to be drop dead gorgeous, and gargoyles.  Not a paranormal genre I am used to, but I loved it.  I mean really, how many vampires and werewolves can you really read....ok don't answer that, but a little variety can be good.

If you are looking for something hot, new, emotional, and keeps you reading into the wee hours, this is the one, or ones.  The best part is the bundle is only around 6.50, so you don't even have to feel guilty about one-clicking. (not that any of us really do anyway)
